The MB-6 is controlled and monitored by Momentum's BMS (Battery Management System) and has features to ensure the safety and lifespan of the battery cells. The BMS also communicates with the motor to ensure that full power is only delivered when the motor is connected and the kill switch is activated – all to protect both the user and the battery.
A simple press of a button on the battery activates standby mode and displays the battery level as well as any error codes that may occur.

Can you only use the Momentum MB-6 battery for M10/M6?

M10/M6 can use the MB6 battery or third-party batteries via the ME-1 External Battery Adapter. Connect the adapter to a 72 V power source with sufficient current capacity for the motor. For M10/M6, a continuous 150 A/h output is recommended.
How much range do I get in relation to the weight?
With 6.4 kWh at 72V, the MB-6 delivers a lot of energy in a compact format, about 37 kg.
The high energy density ensures that you get maximum range without compromising weight distribution or the boat's performance.
How long is the accompanying cable?
The standard cable is 3 m. Both 1 m and 5 m are available as accessories. You can also connect multiple cables to extend the length with our IP67-rated connectors.
