FAQ about U2
How far can a U2 go?
The range varies depending on the type of boat, weight, and speed. For example, a 3.6 m tender with up to 25 kg and one person on board can travel up to 6 nautical miles at full throttle. At lower speeds, the range increases significantly and can potentially reach up to 55 nautical miles per charge.
How do you handle range anxiety if you have a U2?

Our engines have built-in GPS that calculates and displays your remaining range in real-time based on speed and load. This helps you plan trips safely. Slowing down significantly extends the range, and after a few trips, the range becomes very predictable.
How is the shaft length of M10/M6 and U2 determined?

M10/M6 uses the same dimensions as traditional combustion engines. If your boat requires a 52 cm shaft for a standard outboard motor, choose the same shaft length for M10/M6.

U2 is a bit different; the engine power means that a cavitation plate cannot do a proper job. This, in turn, causes electric motors with this capacity to easily cavitate if they do not run deep enough. If you are a bit on the edge between long/short shaft, choose the longer one.
